This comprehensive new ethics resource produced in 2014 features an updated
edition of the original Striving for Excellence in Ethics print publication
produced in 2011 and a new Assessment Tool with an improved and more accurate
scoring system. The Assessment Tool is available in both print and online
formats to facilitate use by individuals and groups such as ethicists, ethics
committees, mission leaders, senior leadership teams and others. Designed to
foster ongoing efforts for ethics excellence in Catholic health organizations,
the resource identifies the type and range of ethics services that support
organizational identity and integrity as well as recommended standards for
achieving the highest standard of performance in these services. The resource
also provides print and online Assessment Tools to evaluate ethics services, a
tool to support quality improvement and strategic planning and an Index of
Resources for additional reference and learning.
