CHA anticipates Congress will work to pass a large legislative package that may contain healthcare-related bills during the lame-duck session. This includes the potential for bills related to nonprofit hospital tax-exemption and transparency, making this an especially important time for your system and Catholic healthcare to have a strong voice in Washington this December.
Fly-in Schedule:
- Dec. 8: Legislative briefing on Capitol Hill (3:30-5 p.m.), followed by a reception
- Dec. 9: Congressional visits with members of Congress and their staff
During the registration process, there will be an opportunity to select if you are planning to attend the Reception on Dec. 8 at 5:00 p.m.
