The Catholic Health Association is partnering with Catholic Mobilizing Network (CMN) to offer a three‑day civil rights pilgrimage for leaders in the Catholic health ministry. The purpose of the pilgrimage is to reflect on the issue of racism and promote healing justice.

Space is limited. Open to CHA Members Only.

Participants will deepen their understanding of:

  • The relationship between the nation’s past and modern‑day systems of inequity, particularly related to the criminal legal system
  • How the Church, its leadership, and its laity are called to be ministers of reconciliation
  • Ways in which the Church and its members can play a more active role in truth‑telling and advance meaningful efforts that move our ministries, communities, Church, and country forward

CMN has led this pilgrimage for many Catholic groups, including bishops, most recently welcoming six U.S. bishops who participated during Lent earlier this year. Their reflections offer a powerful witness to the impact of the experience. Read about their experience.
