Description
Emerging Topics in Catholic Health Care Ethics Series 5, Session 4
The Hidden Benefits of Virtue in Catholic Health Care Organizations
Co-sponsored by the Catholic Health Association in cooperation with Loyola University Chicago.
A virtuous organizational culture requires more than simply articulating values. Organizational leaders must communicate, integrate, and model virtuous behavior. This presentation will discuss relevant virtues and use discernment as a model to explore practical strategies that guide individual actions, collective activities, and cultural attributes that disseminate and perpetuate virtuous behaviors, contributing to the development of healthy organizations.
