Session Seven: Wayfaring: A Christian Approach to Mental Health Care
How can Catholic health leaders support mental health models that move beyond a symptom-focused approach and embrace approaches that honor the fullness of the human person, embodied, relational, and oriented toward God? Join CHA colleagues for an engaging webinar with author Warren Kinghorn, MD, ThD, to discuss his book Wayfaring: A Christian Approach to Mental Health Care. Rooted in the wisdom of Thomas Aquinas, we will consider how a theologically and scientifically informed vision for mental health care can be applied in Catholic health care. Dr. Kinghorn will be joined by LaVera Crawley, MD, MPH, OFS, System Vice President, Pastoral and Spiritual Care, CommonSpirit Health, and Jill Fisk, Director, Mission Services, CHA.
