Session Four: Every Life a Sacred Gift
Join author Joseph J. Fins, M.D. and CHA’s Brian Kane, Ph.D., senior director, ethics, for a compelling conversation around this work that explores the ethical and societal challenges faced by patients with severe brain injuries, weaving together personal stories, medical history, and groundbreaking neuroscience. In telling the story of Maggie Worthen and her mother, Nancy, Fins invites us to a continued commitment to dignity and care for those at the margins of consciousness.
