Description

CHA is pleased to present a quarterly webinar series exploring ethical issues unique to long-term care settings. Presented by ethicists from CHA member health systems, each 60-minute webinar features a presentation on a specific issue commonly encountered in long-term care in the context of Catholic social teaching and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services (ERDs).

This session will discuss how to build a culture of belonging that strengthens cultural awareness among providers, residents, and their families so that when staff experience derogatory or abusive behavior from residents, particularly related to race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion, they feel supported and valued by their organization.
